FAQ

The brand ÆR INSIDE ®

What does the ÆR INSIDE brand represent?

ÆR INSIDE ® – Indoor Air Well-being

ÆR INSIDE ® is a home well-being brand specialized in improving indoor air quality through the diffusion of living, beneficial micro-organisms (probiotics).

Our solutions work naturally, without harsh chemical products.

Why did we choose the name ÆR INSIDE®?

The name ÆR INSIDE® is inspired by the ancient term “AER,” the Latin root of the word air, a symbol of life and breathing. Featured in the poetry of Ancient Greece, it evokes lightness, balance, and the invisible — values that lie at the heart of our vision of indoor well-being.

What do ÆR INSIDE® home products symbolize?

Probiotics are connected to the very origins of life on Earth.
ÆR INSIDE® embodies healthier, more balanced indoor air that is naturally present in the home.

Our products help reduce the perception of common allergens and sustainably improve indoor comfort.

How does probiotics work

How do probiotic-based products work?

Probiotics are beneficial micro-organisms capable of breaking down organic matter such as fats, dirt, allergens, and more.

Rapid activation: Probiotics activate in approximately 15 minutes, transitioning from a dormant spore state to an active form capable of producing enzymes.

Enzyme production: They release enzymes that break down organic waste (dust, mold, residues) into harmless metabolites.

Biodegradation: They accelerate the breakdown of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and allergens, helping to reduce indoor pollution.

Microbial competition: By colonizing surfaces, they limit the growth of pathogenic bacteria and fungi, improving overall air quality.

Practical Applications / Ready-to-Use Formula

Improved indoor air quality: Our probiotic-based devices and ready-to-use formulas help reduce odors and fine particles.

Surface cleaning: After diffusion, probiotics settle on surfaces and continue working by consuming the nutrients needed for harmful bacteria to grow, thereby limiting their proliferation.

In Summary

We offer an eco-friendly, effective, and long-lasting solution to purify both air and surfaces in just 15 minutes — without harsh chemical products.

Probiotics, identified for their targeted biological effects, are used to break down pollutants and organic residues. These bacteria produce enzymes capable of transforming waste into less harmful substances, a principle that can be applied to indoor pollution in our homes.

How Is ÆR INSIDE different from conventional room sprays?

Unlike chemical room sprays, ÆR INSIDE® works deeply and over time:

✔ Breakdown of organic matter

✔ Long-lasting action

✔ Respect for the indoor microbiome

✔ Reduction of certain allergens

✔ May help limit mold growth (indirect action)

✔ Long-lasting odor neutralization

What are ultrasound waves and ultrasonic diffusion technology?

Ultrasound refers to very high-frequency sound waves (between 16 and 20 MHz) that are inaudible to the human ear. This is the same principle used by bats or dolphins to navigate. Unlike waves emitted by mobile phones or microwave ovens, ultrasound waves are not electromagnetic waves.

Ultrasonic diffusers work by vibrating a piezoelectric disc at very high frequencies (generally between 1.7 and 2.4 MHz). These vibrations transform the ÆR INSIDE liquid formula into a fine, cool mist that is dispersed into the air as micro-droplets.

This technique preserves the properties of ÆR INSIDE® formulas (unlike heat-based systems) and also generates negative ions, helping to improve ambient air quality.

Are the waves produced by ultrasonic diffusers harmful to health?

No. The waves produced by ultrasonic diffusers pose no health risk, nor do the negative ions they generate — which are generally perceived as beneficial for health and respiratory comfort.

This ultrasonic diffusion system produces an average of 180,000 negative ions per cubic meter. It is comparable to the air found in high mountain environments or near a waterfall — pure and revitalizing.

Negative ions are considered beneficial for health. They help improve air quality by reducing dust and allergens and may therefore contribute to overall well-being, better sleep quality, and improved mood. The diffusion experience is very pleasant.

They are completely unrelated to electromagnetic waves emitted by phones or microwave ovens and present no known health risks when used under normal conditions.

Can ultrasonic diffusers disturb pets?

Ultrasonic devices emit very high-frequency sounds (up to 20 MHz), far beyond what pets can hear.

At these frequencies, there is no risk that dogs, cats, or small animals such as guinea pigs will be disturbed by the sound near an ultrasonic diffuser.

Everyday Use

Can ÆR INSIDE® be used in all rooms?

Yes. Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, offices, waiting rooms, meeting rooms, or reception areas.

Can the products stain surfaces?

No. Probiotics do not stain.

It is recommended to diffuse the product at least one meter away from surfaces and not to spray directly onto them.

Do the products replace ventilation?

No. Ventilation remains essential. ÆR INSIDE® works as a complementary solution to sustainably clean the air between ventilation cycles.

Do the products have a scent?

Yes. Delicate fragrances accompany the action of probiotics.

A fragrance-free Neutral version is also available.

What surface area do our ultrasonic diffusers cover?

The HOME PACK ultrasonic diffuser releases thousands of probiotics and effectively scents a room of up to 30 m² in less than 15 minutes.

To ensure optimal diffusion, the room should be closed. Airflows (open windows or doors, ventilation systems, etc.) may reduce diffusion efficiency. It is therefore recommended to ventilate the room beforehand, then close the windows during diffusion.

The TRAVEL PACK ultrasonic diffuser offers automatic neutral diffusion for one minute when the push button is activated.
It can cover an area of up to 25 m². This diffusion can be repeated as often as desired throughout the day — at the office, in the car, on public transport, or while traveling.

Regulation & Environment

Are the products medical devices?

No. They are wellness and home hygiene products, not classified as medical devices by the ANSM (French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety).

Do probiotics cause bacterial resistance?

No. They naturally regulate the environment without destroying the overall microbiome.

Are the products eco-friendly?

Yes. The formulas are biodegradable and designed to minimize environmental impact.

Who is it for?

Probiotic diffusion is beneficial for the whole family

    Storage of the Formulas

How should the products be stored?

Keep them away from light, in a dry place, at temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C.

    Ultrasonic Diffuser Maintenance

Why is it important to clean diffusers?

After repeated use, the nozzle may become clogged and stop functioning properly. It is important to remove any residues that could interfere with the diffuser’s operation. Poor maintenance can affect device performance. We recommend performing at least one cleaning per month.

My ultrasonic diffuser is no longer producing mist!

Several factors can cause weak or no mist production:

    • The diffuser needs cleaning (at least once a month)
    • The reservoir is overfilled
    • The reservoir is underfilled
    • The device has stopped due to a lack of liquid or because the diffusion program has ended
    How to clean your diffuser?

Please read all instructions carefully before using the device. Use it safely and correctly.

    Cleaning instructions:

    • Unplug the diffuser, turn off the device, remove the lid, and empty the reservoir.
    • Add a little lukewarm water (do not exceed 40 °C) and a few drops of mild cleanser.
    • Use a cotton swab to clean the atomizer (white disc at the bottom of the reservoir) and the inner surface of the reservoir.
    • Gently rinse all soap residues from the reservoir after washing.
    • Ensure that water does not enter the ventilation opening.
    • Never use acidic cleaners, as this may cause malfunction.
    • If water accidentally enters the ventilation inlet, vent, or control buttons, allow the internal mechanism to dry completely (at least 6 hours) before the next use; otherwise, the device may malfunction.

    Ultrasonic Diffusers Waves: Revitalizing Air

Are the waves produced by an ultrasonic diffuser dangerous to health?

No, they pose no danger to health, and the negative ions produced by ultrasonic diffusers are generally perceived as beneficial for health and respiratory comfort.

Ultrasonic diffusers do indeed produce ions known as negative ions (though not negative for health). This ultrasonic system produces an average of 180,000 negative ions per cubic meter. It’s as if you were in the high mountains or near a waterfall: pure, revitalizing air. These negative ions are considered beneficial to health: they improve air quality by reducing dust and allergens and can therefore promote overall well-being, sleep quality, and mood, as the diffusion is very pleasant. They have nothing to do with the electromagnetic waves emitted by phones or microwaves and present no known health risk when used under normal conditions.

What is ultrasound and ultrasonic diffusion technology?

Ultrasound is a very high-frequency sound (between 16 and 20 MHz) that cannot be heard by humans. It is the same principle as the ultrasound used by bats or dolphins to navigate. Unlike the waves emitted by mobile phones or microwave ovens, ultrasound waves are not electromagnetic waves.

Ultrasonic diffusers work by vibrating a piezoelectric disk at a very high frequency (generally between 1.7 and 2.4 MHz). These vibrations transform the ÆR INSIDE® formula liquid into a fine, cool mist, which is released into the air in the form of micro-droplets. This technique preserves the properties of the ÆR INSIDE® formulas (unlike heat-based methods) and also makes it possible to generate negative ions, thereby improving the quality of the surrounding air.

Can the ultrasound produced by ultrasonic diffusers disturb our pets?

Ultrasonic devices emit sounds at very high frequencies (up to 20 MHz), well above what pets are able to hear. At these frequencies, there is no risk that dogs, cats, or guinea pigs will be bothered by the sound near an ultrasonic diffuser.

    In Summary

Probiotics offer a natural and innovative alternative to traditional chemical products. They sustainably improve indoor air quality, reduce allergens, and create a healthier, more balanced, and pleasant living environment.
